Description

We are a small Mom and Pop fishing campground, located on the beautiful Chickahominy River. We feature a boat ramp, wet slips, rental cabins, and RV sites. Our Deluxe cabin is directly waterfront with full kitchen and bath, while our basic cabins are waterview, and located near the ramp and docks. RV sites are equipped with fire ring, table, and plenty of space to stretch out. Please note, pets are not allowed in the cabin.

Route 60 to Hwy 627 (Waterside Dr). Waterside will become Riverside at the RR tracks. Bear left at the fork, Campground will be on your left. Garmin users in particular, stay on Route 60 until you reach 627, some users report bad routing on Garmin.

Camping

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded getaway on the Chickahominy River this is the place. Lance, Jennifer & Kids are courteous, kind professional hosts. Sites are level, don't know about the bath house - it was closed because of the China pandemic. Sun rise over the Chick are unbelievable. Sit back and relax, rent a pontoon boat and cruise the river, stop and fish (large mouth bass) for awhile. We will go there again.

Camping & Fishing

Small, well maintained campground with lots of charm nestled next to the beautiful Chickahominy river. The owners are very friendly and helpful and strife to make all guests feel welcomed. We have been coming to Riverside since 2011 for both camping and fishing and have made Riverside our home away from home.
