Lovely Park
Nice park in the shadow of Pikes Peak. We arrived later in day and stayed only one night, so did not use laundry, bathrooms or showers, but they were available. Very large lots with level concrete pad, long enough to leave truck hooked up to trailer overnight. Cost was $41 plus $9 for “daily park fee”—-why don’t they just charge $50 up front instead of having to pay the $9 separately?? It took me longer to make this one night reservation than any other reservation I have made in last two years, because I had to set up an account with Colorado Parks and Rec. Would have enjoyed staying another day if we could. Saw lots of trails in the area but did not have time to enjoy them.

What other campgrounds are compared to. This is best. Has everything except wifi. Price is ok, but then add a park pass. Reserve online. Sites are in demand. Very nice. Good luck.

Wow!
This park was absolutely wonderful! The sites were large and quiet and private! I did not want to leave. The park trails were really nice too. I cannot wait to return!

Beautiful Park
We loved our 2 week stay here while visiting our son at Ft Carson. Lovely big pull through spot and gorgeous views. Great hiking paths right from our spot. Nice big fire pit for s’mores! We’ll be back!

Great Area
We loved our spot at Cheyenne Mountain, the vista view & the mountain was gorgeous. Spots were bigger & spaces out. It ended up raining so we couldn’t do any of the hikes but we will next time!

A Nice Stay.
A near perfectly level site. Easy hookup. Book early. We wanted a second night and couldn’t get one. Showers a operated by quarters at 4 minutes per dollar and it starts amazingly cold but give it a minute. The sunrise was incredible.

Disappointed Frustrated
After going round and round online trying to book a site for 1 night I called the 800 number where she took all my personal information including my drivers license and then added a $10 booking fee.. the website says $30 per night it’s really $40!! And we already bought the $70 annual state parks pass at the previous CO state park every where else has been $24 per night.

Outstanding
Very clean park with flush toilets, many hiking trails, lots of smaller wildlife. Had a wild snow storm while there. Beautiful afterward. Very pleasant, helpful park staff. Plenty of shopping, restaurants just outside the park. Just across the highway from the entrance to the Army base, but the feeling is quiet, secluded.

Great Stay
This was a great weekend out even given the ice storm. Will definitely be back to this place.

Really nice views and clean bathrooms. 2 bars coverage with AT&T. Would give 5 stars if dogs were allowed on most trails.

Exceptional!
Absolute beauty to stay at, clean and we'll done. Family stay couldn't have been better! Beware of mooching bunnies and nature at its best...
