Quick Overnight Before Pikes Peak Fun
Illinois flatlanders wanting to RV sleep at 7,500ft before Pikes Peak Jeep ascent in morning. Didn't use any facilities. Rv jacks got fully extended on our site.

An older campground that was probably established before highway 24 became such a thoroughfare. Unfriendly staff members. Sites are very close together. Hook ups for your neighbor are right next to your camp table. Tents sites are by the river and seem to be spaced further apart. No leash law for your pets!
Pictures on the website are deceiving.

3 Nights Stay
Our 2 boys (5&11) really enjoyed the Lone Duck. They caught lots of fish and enjoyed the pool. It was quiet in the evening besides some highway noise. The restrooms and showers were clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Nice little campground. Close to Pikes Peak highway and other attractions. It was clean, the staff was friendly, Wi-Fi was good. Has a small store, game room, laundry and bathhouse. We didn't use the bathhouse or laundry room. But the laundry room looked clean and nice. We stayed in the full hookup area. The sites in full hook up are kind of short. You'll have to park your truck sideways after unhooking if you tow. We had a great view and will stay here again next time.

Great campground. Perfect area in the mountains and close to Colorado Springs. The owners were amazing and definitely made our stay much better.

Great Place For The Family
My wife found this site online while traveling through Colorado Springs. Great camp ground. Friendly staff. Hot showers. Fun arcade. Great WiFi. Kids loved the pool. Was a great place to relax. I haven't fished the pound but have seen a few people with lots of fish.

We have been coming here for the last few years and everyone in the family loves it. The fishing pond makes you feel like a professional angler and the pancake breakfasts are served with a smile.
