Love This Campground For Overnight
Very picturesque. Very clean. Bathhouse nice and clean. Fire pit and picnic table at every site. Our spot was level, although I understand some are complaining they are way off kilter. I believe they are working to remedy that situation. Several sites have gravel ready to spread out. Yes, there is a highway nearby, but we just turn on our hvac fan or ac and problem solved. Not a lot in the way of amenities, but not needed for an overnight. Playground for kids. No pool, store or clubhouse. $45 with Good Sam which I thought was a little steep considering lack of amenities, but then I thought at least I can see what they are using the money for. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice campground. Was quiet during the day but the freeway was close by & the trucks could be heard all night. Except for that, it was very nice.

My Self
Very nice campground. Clean and quiet. We’ll have to come back again and stay longer and enjoy the blue Ridge Parkway. I love the reservation system old-fashioned someone answered the phone and took your data. The showers and bathrooms were remodeled , modern clean and neat.

Max Meadows For Sure!
We stayed here overnight at the end of April. This was our favorite stop of the whole trip. Beautiful little glen with lots of gently rolling meadow to wander around with our 2 dogs. Lovely little campground with friendly and accommodating hosts. Full hookup. We would happily stay here again.

Nice Overnight Stay
Just off the 77 / 81 Interstate exchange in Wytheville, VA. Nice RV park with creek frontage. Say there’s good bass fishing in it but we didn’t try our luck. Our site next to the bathhouse was all we needed for the evening passing thru. Our site was a little less than level (as mentioned in other reviews) but hubby comes prepared with two boards to roll tire on one side up on. There seem to be quite a few seasonal campers here. You can hear traffic but not bad and we sleep with earplugs any way. Good stay for the price as a Good Sam member of $35.

Overnight
Convenient, right off 81 but far enough from the highway that nighttime traffic noise is not disturbing. 40' motor home towing a Jeep Wrangler, they have plenty of pull through sites, didn't have to unhook. Sites are pretty level had no trouble getting settled. Some sites are closer together than others. Creek that runs through the campground is pristine and saw fisherman in it towards evening. Overall, very happy with the restful atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again.

Pretty But Noisy
The drive in is quite adventurous: up a steep road, down a steep road. The area by the river is beautiful green and park like, very pretty. However it is right next to the freeway and therefore super noisy.

Just OK Overall
Although the grounds are picturesque the spots are very sloped. Next to impossible to use auto leveling system because of steeply uneven pad. Would not use this park again. Have. 40 ft 5th wheel. If you have a much smaller RV you might be OK.

Overnight Stop
Convenient for an overnight stop. Right off 81/77. Could see and hear the traffic. Good hookups, good wifi, fairly level site with nice fire rings. No cable, but it was open, so our satellite tv worked well. Camp host very nice, friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for a day or two while traveling.

Great Overnight
Kind of tight spots, ours wasn't totally level but many others looked to be, perfectly fine for a quick overnight. Very clean place with a BEAUTIFUL river that flows by it. The people that ran the place were very nice and very responsive even after hours. It's Exit 80 off I-77. The backroad to get to it is a little long and has some steep but short hills which is tricky in a 15 mph zone.
