Great place!
Camp is called Camp Cardinal RV resort now. Had a wonderful time. We brought jet skis and convenient boat launch at the Camp. Peaceful water to kayak and fishing off the boat piers. Lots of room to store the trailer. Nice gift shop and staff was very welcoming. Great place for kids with a pool, and other areas for play. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back.

We went here when it was Yogi Bear and there were lots of activities for grand kids. It’s been bought by someone else and the only thing they managed to deal was remove Yogi stuff and jack up the prices. They demanded we pay up up front. Sewer, water, and electric was built for the 70’s . If it is a holiday weekend you will be in trouble

Great Place To Stay
Due to Covid-19 not all activities were available, but kids still had a good time. Lots of things to do. Only complaint is that staff did not clean site between guest. My site was littered with bottle caps, cigarette butts, and misc. small trash.

Expensive As Heck
Crazy expensive. For camp sites. May as well get motel hotel room for what they want to charge. Used to be a great place. Just cd t believe what they charge . Especially for off season

Stressfull
Had sewer back on site what a mess! Bathrooms need some attention and a cleaning. When we were leaving the main dump spot backed up as well. Will not go back to this camp ground!!

Infrastructure
This place was ok but it needs some freshening up. The main pool needs some type of circulation for stagnant water, the jump pillow is old, etc. The sewer hook up at our site (43)backed up 2 feet from our camper and flowed all over the ground behind the camper. Maintenance came by trying to snake it with no luck so I said it was ok just cap it and I can dump when I leave up front. So it was cleaned up and 1/2 hour later another guy comes by with a power washer trying to unclog it and made a bigger mess. So we went to the office to complain and they basically said we could give you free stay on future trips or have us pack everything up and move to another site and we are down with friends. No thanks I won't be coming back.

Lots Of Activities
Something for everyone. Tent camping, cabins, small campers, large RV's. Lots of activities for kids. Fire truck rides, train rides, hayrides, petting zoo, pony rides, and arts and crafts. Even bring your boat and put in at their boat slip. Piers for fishing and crabbing. Water park is small but good size if you have younger children. We will go back for sure.

Vaca With Bestie
My husband, myself and my best friend and her family stayed here last August. We had buddy sites and loved it. Loved all the activities, plus close to water so hubs could fish. We didn’t want to leave, will be making another trip soon.

Rustic
A very well maintained and rustic place. Everything one needs is on site. The “streets” aren’t paved but well maintained. Bathhouse is great and Laundry is as good as most places. It has a boat launch, piers and a small beach. One can rent a canoe or paddle boat for the water or a golf cart for land. There are constant activities for the kids. A nice dog park for Fido. They also have a snack bar for those times the kids get hungry at the pool. We have stayed there several times and have enjoyed it every time. The staff is super friendly. We have a pull behind 27’ camper, but there’s everything from tents to class A RVs there.

Great Place To Stay!!
We have stayed here several times and have been happy every time. Nice location, great activities for kids, have nice bath houses, full hook up, dog park, and their own boat launch. Two cons are 1. The 2 mile road into the place can be a bit narrow if two larger campers are coming and going at the same time. 2. Wifi they advertise is spotty at best if you can even connect. (but who cares....you are camping!!)

Family Fun
This campground is what I remember growing up. Plenty of small rv's and even tents make this a very down to earth place to stay. Sites are clean but mostly dirt which can produce some dust. Check in and out was a breeze and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean and always available. Pros: secluded with lots of activities Good facilities Plenty to entertain children Cons: pool is really small Golf carts get annoying Lots of permanent site and cabins Overall very good place to stay
