Great Place
A wonderful Campground, great spaces in the green, beautiful scenery, friendly park Rangers. One of my favorites amongst the 50 campgrounds I have visited.

So So
Nice park but needs updating. Only a few 50 amp sites. We stayed here in late March 2019 in 44 motorhome. Park store was well stocked with almost everything and store clerk very helpful. Not easy to get to as roads are up and down and twisted.

Love This Place!
We’ve come numerous times and we love it. The staff is very friendly. The sites are well maintained. The wildlife is amazing- the Bald Eagle’s nest alone is well worth the trip here. To sit watch and watch Bald Eagles come and go is absolutely incredible. Ask the rangers where to find the nest, grab some binoculars and enjoy. The store is well supplied...my only complaint about the store is that we purchased 5 bundles of wood only to discover that they were still wet and smoked us out the whole time. The water park is great, especially with kids. It can get a little crowded but it’s well worth it on hot summer days. But the park is huge, we’ve stayed in Mallard and dry camped which was gorgeous and overlooked the lake but was rough with no hook-ups. Bass is definitely the way to go if you have kids and you want hookups. It’s in between the water park and the Eagle’s nest so it’s great for us!

Huge Park With Lots To Offer!
We showed up here without reservations on April and had no problem getting a good RV site with water and power, but if you want sewer as well book in advance. There is a dump station. Lots of room to wander and bike ride in, large lake offers fishing and boating, several playgrounds for kids, great camp store, water park was closed for the season in April when we stayed. Park is clean and well maintained and patrolled. Secure gate is nice. Ventura is only a half hour away, and the weather at this park was consistently warmer and sunnier than in town. We will be back!

No Cable
The place is nice if you get executive hook ups then you're not camping on top of each other. Lake is really low. The reason I give it 3stars is they advertise cable hook up but none to be found
