Everything about Catalina SP was great, sites, hookups, shower houses, trails, and park rangers. We will unquestionably stay here again!

Super clean. These people are serious about providing an awesome camping experience. Site was level and had wonderful views of the mountains. Take the trip up Mt. Lemmon for breathtaking views. The hikes in the park itself are excellent.

Beautiful state park

We stayed here over a 3 day Easter weekend. We were in Loop A site 15. Absolutely beautiful park with wonderful hiking. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the camp hosts are very friendly. Not a lot of shade but it’s the desert. The bathroom facilities are the best I’ve ever seen at a park so far. Definitely recommend!

Stayed at Catalina State Park for 2 nights. First night was in Ringtail Overflow. No water or electric hook up there, but fine for 1 night. Able to use generators 8am-8pm. 2nd night, stayed in lot B. Site was level with electric and water hook ups. Fanominal bathrooms and showers throughout park facilities . Hiking trails in excellent condition and easy to walk. I felt as though the trail descriptions and ratings were accurate. LOTS of coyotes!!! Keep your pets safe even during the day

Desert Camping Close To Town

Large sites with little shade. Good facilities. Excellent hiking for all skill levels. Be prepared for the desert! A real jewel at the edge of the city. Exceptionally busy fall - spring.
