We stopped here for one night while driving through. Place is small but was nice. Trees for shade in majority of the park and spaced out enough for privacy. Picnic table and fire ring. We were told upfront the bathhouse was closed. It was ok for us as we didn’t need it. Very quiet and there is a coal mine museum next door which has a lot of history behind it, if you were interested in visiting and touring it. The office to the campground is here too. Would definitely stop here again if out this way.

Just a stop over on the way home for a night. No problem leveling. Full hook up at all sites. Good for a one night stay. Just needs a little TLC.

Just driving through on our way to the beach. Needed a quick stop for one night. $35 a night for full hook up. But we can't even reach the dump on our site. Sites very close together. We found a pretty level site #13. We are the only ones here. They did not tell us the bathrooms have been closed for years. So no toilet or shower. Trees are still pretty barren so not much shade. Had to turn our van around so it was open to the shady side. Some nice picnic tables some pretty shabby. Very out dated playground equipment. Good US Cellular service.

Nice campground. We were able to get level with a little work. Hey, it's W.V., there is no level ground. Mine trip and tour is well worth the money. Overall a great place to stop.

This Place Was A Bit Of A Dump
Didn’t stay but could not level my van. I was off by 4 degrees. The restrooms were closed. No one answered the phone. It’s very tight to get around the circle. And I only have a 19’ van.
