Retirement Travels
Beautiful hilly sites with lots of space. Friendly staff. Restrooms were still closed for the winter but had water at the site. Lots of new stone on roads and sites. Friendly staff. Very close to New River Gorge National Park.

Good Location, Friendly
We stayed at a campsite near the office which gave us the privacy in a more natural setting that we like. Our back in site was made of thick layer of large Gravel which was level and nice to have esp with the rain we got. Bathrooms while a tad tired(heater looked ancient) were clean and water hot. Mgmt friendly and on top of things. We usually don't pay this much for camping and I think it's a bit high.

Great Place
This was a great place. I got a tent spot with 15 amp for $18 because I don’t need all the hookups. I have a Roadtrek. I have a plug that converts 15 to 30. So it was perfect for me.

Very accommodating staff. You are escorted to your site. All sites are on a cement pad and are level. Only minutes from New River National Park.

Ok For Stop-Over Or If River Activity
Nice little campground for us on a stop over. We wouldn't recommend for a several day stay unless you were there for the surroundings. We weren't staying for river activities like rafting, tubing, and we aren't biking or trail kind of people. If that's your thing, then this would be for you. Reviews indicate this campground has come a long way and the folks are really trying to make it nice, so we don't want to be critial, except to say our site left a bit to be desired for us. Our site, #20, was a pull through, but it was right next to two of the camp roads and a bit close for us. A little too cramped for us. But the folks were friendly, led us to our site, and were helpful. The place looked clean, we didn't use the bath or laundry. One other caution - all the roads very narrow but are two way, and the entry / exit is very narrow. Would be good if all were one way roads and the entry and exit were separate. Also, folks need to be encouraged to follow posted speed limits.

Nice Place
Nice campground. Owners friendly and helpful. Booked 3 nights, stayed 2. Too much rain and even though the WiFi dish was right outside our camper we got no WiFi and didn’t want to spend another rainy day in the camper. If you book, get a spot near the office, not the back. No number over 25.

We were put in a new area in the back. No wifi, area was in rough condition, and needed to be cleaned up and finished. Muddy and camp sites were not very level.

We spent one night on our way home, the host and owner greet you very friendly and even take you to the site and help you back in and make sure you have everything you need, very clean and well kept up blacktop drive leading up to campground, we will stay there in future and plan on staying longer and explore the area, would give 5 Stars

Nice
We stayed for 4 nights. Owners were very nice and helpful. They are continuing work on the campground. Had been planting grass on the dirt spots. One drawback was camp rugs were not allowed which made for a dirty camper floor. Close to attractions and town.

Good Campground
We stayed here for 3 nights, site #22. They had a lot of rain so everything not covered in gravel was muddy. Sites are tight but the owners are very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable convenient
New owners adding more sites. Super convenient to Fayetteville and New River Gorge. VERY clean. If the hot water had been just a little hotter I’d rate it 5 *
