Trains trains and more trains! All the time, however great management, beautiful river. Fun camp ground small camp ground.

Great views and great people. We stay there several times a year. The river is beautiful and the smallmouth fishing is good. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes the river for tubing or fishing.

We stayed here in April 2019. Nice clean campground and beautiful scenery. There are 2 active trains that go by every couple hours throughout the day and night. They are noisy but wouldn’t keep me from camping there. We will definitely be back.

New River Junction

One of my favorite camp grounds to date. Great place for family get away. Pictures above are taken from the back of the camper. The view cannot be beat. Go tubing from campground. 15 minutes away from downtown Blacksburg! Only down fall is a active train track close to the camp ground that will wake you up during the night!
