Impressed/PA rate

Well we were impressed with the changes and development of this park. About 4 years ago it did look like the pics posted here but not any longer. Tremendous improvement. The web page does reflect the park now. Couldn't get our own pics, did overnight and left in downpour. BBQ is available to everyone, fire pit, nice level sites. Park is clean and up to date. Great spot to overnight and squeeze in some fishing.

Convenient

Convenient. Right off the highway so there is highway noise but that's to be expected. After driving all day with no rest stops threw Louisiana, and the Texas travel center being closed due to hurricane damage, Wal-Mart also being closed due to hurricane damage, I couldn't complain about having hookups for a night to be comfortable.

Only If You HAVE to!

Yikes. It is literally on I-10. Noise, noise, noise. Dirt road. Most facilities not available since hurricane. Staff very friendly. Dog park full of poop everywhere. Beach a joke. PA at $20, really? $20 should be regular rate (maybe) with PA at $10. Almost full of permanent folks or likely workers on disaster relief.

Stay Only In Case Of Emergency

This place is literally right off I10 and EXTREMELY noisy. It caters to people working in Beaumont, but some spots for those passing through. All dirt and facilities are far from sites. Staff was polite and helpful. We were grateful for a place to park, but that's all.
