Great Overnight
I guess they do take reservations and they only have 2 actual RV spots. But there's a parking area next to a large pavilion where we part for the night and worked out fine. Do note though that they close the gates at 6 o'clock. So you have to be there before that to get in. Do you get some noise from the interstate since it close. But if your windows are closed , it's very tolerable.

Great overnight Spot
A fantastic stop for an overnight, or maybe even longer? Nice trails, disc golf, and picnic opportunities. Stayed one night April 6 2021.Staff super friendly. Said we can back into RV spots or anywhere by Pavillion. We stayed by Pavillion as it was easier to park and roll out in the morning. We were the only campers here. Not sure why. A little noise from I-10 but a beautiful place.

We arrived at 5:12 gates closed. Previous comment said gate closes at 7:00, but web site says 5:00 pm. Just saying look at web site and proceed with Caution. 4 stars cause it looked like a beautiful place to stay.

Great Overnight
Get here before 7pm as they lock the gates. Quiet, convenient to the I-10, and free. You will need to talk to park staff for assistance likely. The park ranger that helped us was fantastic.
