Noisy Weekend

We are here on a weekend in January. It's full and a bit noisy. Most sites are good sized but very sloped front to back. Many dogs (much barking). Would be nicer if the bathrooms were better cleaned; they need a good power-wash from top to bottom. We would stay again but maybe not on a weekend.

The park is well maintained and staff are very helpful. We had no trouble with services and our site was extremely level (probably the best in the park). Our picnic table could’ve used replacing, but overall we had a great experience.

Nice, Shaded And All Hookup Types

Nice lots from tent, to water only to full hookups 30 and 50 amp, backing and pull through. Great location near enough to run to town for supplies or dinner, but the location is so nice you may not want to leave. Good showers, ice etc. A well maintained state park Lee than an hour north of Houston.

Very Nice Place

I am new to camping and this was my first experience camping with just my wife and I. The camp hosts were great and people were very friendly. The sites made leveling difficult because of the uneven camp site areas but once done, its and awesome place to relax and enjoy.

Super reasonable price for full hook up sites. Lucked out and got one on a rainy weekend. Sites are very un level- bring your wood to level. Ours has the sewer line running up hill. Crazy. Very forested sites. Beautiful! Would definitely come back again.

Very nice sites. Pull-through and back-ins available. Several with full hook ups including sewer. Docks and boat ramps available.
