Grandchild loved it. Well run and beautiful location. Bring all necessary items as there is little nearby.

Septic Hookups Not Good
Very nice park - spacious sites, most are back-in. $40 per night. Lake is fun for kayaks, dogs, etc - not too busy. My problem is sewer hookups - none of the sites have threaded pipes so you have to put rocks on top to hold the drain elbow into the sewer. Also, the sewer elevations are not ideal for travel trailer. We stayed at site 11 this weekend and the black/grey water had to run uphill - which obviously they can’t do - so spent alot of time lifting sewer hose to drain. Real pain.

Very Nice Campground
We were in the cove loop with a slight view of the lake. The beach was a short walk from our site. Its nice for kids. A rope at 5 ft to mark depth. The waterfront sites are great but very hard to reserve. Most sites have a paved pad for the camper, not all are level, and crushed stone picnic area with table, fire ring and a pole with hook for a lantern. Some sites are closer together than others. Many are shaded but not all. Shower/restroom buildings are dated but clean. Metal doors with locks on shower stalls. The only thing i didnt like was the peeling worn paint on shower stall cement floor. There are a few washers and dryers. Location is close to other state parks with trails and waterfalls. I would stay here again.
