Nice (pt2)

This place is very nice and clean. There is a really nice catch and release fishing pond on the property that has nice size fish. (Lg mouth bass, bluegill, crappie, & catfish) There is a pool with a lifeguard on duty and a playground in the center of the park. There is a laundry and game room(game room was closed bc of Covid). The Laundry room is basic. Be cautious if Washer #3 doesn’t drain water very well. ($1.25 to wash) we used our own washer/dryer to dry our clothes. We do have a portable tank so it was easy to go and dump it a few times a week. We used our own shower/toilet instead of the bathhouse. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. They were so kind and helpful for just about anything. Gave us a lot of local info on what’s good to eat and what’s fun. They also plan out big holiday weekends with fun activities for everyone. Slight hwy noise but not noticeable after a bit. Also just a few miles from the train yard. Cool to see if you have kids

Avoid

Being the only place within 50 mile radius that had a spot, we had no choice. You will scrape the bottom of your Motor Home pulling into and out of the park due to nasty hill. I shared a shower with the local vermin that was looking for a warm spot for the upcoming months. Water and electric only. Dump station was "closed". All that for a mere 40 bucks. What else could one wish for.
