NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY

Though the staff & camping guests are friendly, this is primarily a seasonal campground comprised of families who have been gathering by the river for generations. The access getting into the campground has several low hanging limbs and once within the campground, the turns are tight for anything over 40'. They offer W/E at all sites. They have a few overnight back in sites and one pull thru site for non-seasonal guests. Not all sites are level {we had to move to a different site due to the large hump that ran through the center of the gravel driveway}. All sites have picnic tables and fire pits. They have a dog park, playground, camp store & river access. The bathroom/shower facilities are small & limited in comparison to how many sites/guests use the campground. For us, we would not stay at this location again mainly because it's not big rig friendly or big rig accessible into the campground, two important items to consider when your total length is 55'.

Nice Campsites By The River

Friendly staff. Nice sized sites by the river. Many long term residents but all were friendly. There was a campsite "crawl" that was a little rowdy but was quiet by 11.

A Little Run Down

If it is for just one night and you don't have any other option, well....but this really is a place full of seasonal, no sewer in the sites, and only 4 pull thru spaces, the back up spaces are not levelled....mosquitos are the main attraction, and a lot of dog poop when walking around.

Pleasant with good service

We enjoyed our two-night stay with quiet evenings and a marina view. Their pull thru sites are easy to manage, but they don't seem to have many of them. We'll be back.

Friendly staff,from the gatehouse,to your Campsite.A nice stay for a nice price.Will have to stop and stay again.

2 Night Stay

Seemed to have a lot activities going on that seemed fun although I didn't participate. It was a "just ok" campground. Our sites were really hard to get into. Lots of permanent residents but all were very friendly and we felt safe.
