Stayed here Sept 23-25. 2 nights at a spectacular beach site #14 on the beach loop. We were meeting friends from down state who come here every year. We had never been before. I would imagine that it's crazy in the summer and hard to get a reservation but we did only the week before. They were staying for a week so they did reservations way ahead. Love, love, love this beach in September! We walked for a couple miles and only saw 2 people. Beautiful sandy beach. My dog loved it! The bath/shower house was 40 yards down and very new. Hot showers, flush toilets. The water is iron stained and seems a bit brown so we filled our water tank before. Was fine for washing and showers. No electric in this beach loop but we didn't need any in our van. There are Electric sites in the other side of the park but they don't have water views and same beach access that we did. Park closes mid Oct so this is a great time to be here if you can. Mostly retired folks and pretty quiet.

A great beach walkers paradise. Campsites are large on beach loop little privacy on any in the campground. Main bath house a bit dated. A great place to explore and swim during the season.
