We had been to the campground before and the people running it (older couple) very pleasant, campground was clean and kept up nicely-that was then. We stayed again for 4 nights and were completely disappointed by the look of the campground. Older couple not there any more, staff friendly but, campground in such poor shape. Grass was weeds overgrown, a lot of permanent residents. Good WiFi and utilities. Laundry room clean. No cable. Will not be staying again.

Better Off Staying At A Truck Stop
This place is so noisy at all hours of the night. Train passing at 9am, 2am & 6 am AND a helicopter landing pad less than a block away!!! Helicopter blew so much dust I literally felt it in my eyes!!! This place hides itself as an actually RV Campground BUT the reality is that 60% of these people are PERMANENTLY living there and they are non friendly to outside visitors. I had to continuously watch my teenage daughters because of the creeps lurking there. We only took this spot as a last resort because the local campground to Angel Lake was full and we bolted the second morning came. Look elsewhere for refuge and don’t support this location!!!

No frills park, quiet, affordable, no cable but then we don’t use it. Pleasant staff. Good
internet. Very satisfied.

Pleasant Enough
Nice, little, no-frills park. Stayed 3 nights in May, 2020. Wasn’t really expecting much, just a quiet place to rest a few days and that’s what we got. Staff was friendly enough, hookups were convenient and wi-if was better than many parks, no problem streaming. If you have the time, we recommend a quick trip to Angel Lake but don’t attempt to take your rig up to it.

Noisy And Cramped
We selected this park based upon Good Sam review.
Appeal - 8
First impression in pulling into this dry desert town was we weren't expecting much. And the park is just about a block off the interstate. But pulling in with pine trees it looked pretty inviting. That was about as good as it got. The park is small, cramped, spots are pretty close together. Most of the green area is brown and needs mowing. The back of the park opens to the desert, tall brush and trash. We had driven for 6 hours to get here we were looking for a relaxing evening to catch up on our sleep. Water pressure is good, electrical is at the far front of the site so even with the cable fully extended, I had to pull my rig forward. The nightmare began later. TRAINS.... every 2 hours I think and Blowing their horns to let you know they were passing thru town. And the dogs running they and barking. Guess they didn't know it was quiet time either. Not restful and over rated by Good Sam. Very disappointing !
