A good location for camping. No traffic noise. Fishing is just a walk across the road. Lake fishing and boating is nearby at upper & lower Blue Lakes. It is a 30 minute drive to the Lake Tahoe casinos. The only negative thing I encountered there were mosquitoes. (Not always, but one time so bad we gave up and left)

Nice Spot

Staff is very friendly, restrooms are clean. No showers but there is a nice river right across the road :). Epic views of the Sierras and a beautiful meadow where I spotted several people doing landscape painting. I would come back.
