We stopped on our way down south and so glad we did. It was a very quite evening next to a nice pond. There’s a dog park area as well. Everything was very clean.

We stayed here overnight in August on our way to Florida. It's a KOA now. Very nice park. The pond was pretty, lots of friendly ducks. It's off the beaten path which makes it quiet. Level gravel sites. Would stay here again

This is not what it seems! The pond is not great! The people were friendly, the place is deteriorating, the entrance side is kept up..thus the great reviews...we booked for 3 months but left early...across the pond was never cleaned up, waded through duck poo, the ducks are disgusting and found out when We dumped it went into the pond! Literally saw kids wading in the pond putting their hands in it...didn’t know at the time! I would have beelined over to tell people to get their kids away! Raw sewage is being dumped into the pond! We left...beware looks are deceiving and weekenders don’t have a clew and am thinking the people buying the park don’t either! Have never given anyone a bad review but we literally threw our large rug and door mat into the dumpster...give it a zero star rating
Reply from owner/manager: As of November 18, 2020 the park is under new ownership. Issues with ducks and pond are being addressed. The assertion that raw sewage is being dumped into the pond is untrue. We hope that you will come back through and be able to enjoy a stay with us.

Old And Messy
We were new to the RV world. Sold our home and we’re going to tour the Deep South through the winter before going back to north Georgia mountains to buy another permanent home. All the info on Okatoma looked great, but what a joke. Comfort stations were really old, not handicap equipped at all. They keep one side of campground fairly neat and let the majority of campground with leaves and junk. Personal stuff piled around campers. Had planned on extended stay but got out of there.
Reply from owner/manager: As of November 18, 2020 the park is under new ownership and many of your concerns are being addressed. There are immediate plans for updates on bath houses and sites are being cleaned up. We hope that you will come through again some time and give us a try!

As full time rv'ers we stay at a lot of parks so when we had to run from the storm we found this breath taking place! Gravel spots are close but everything else is worth it! Pool was fresh and clean. Ponds are perfect, grounds are well kept, staff takes southern charm to a new level and our 2 great danes LOVED the large dog park. I cant say enough about this park. We will stay here again.

Great Overnight Stay
On 3 lakes, fishing available on private lakes with no license needed. About a mile+ off the highway in lovely farmland. Very nice gravel sites, pretty level, large sites with some on the lakes. Would definitely stay again. Good Sam price of $36 for 50 amp site.

Stayed two nights. Very quiet n peaceful, well maintained. On-site staff very helpful.
Be sure to follow website directions not GPS. Makes it easy to find. It is off the main road a couple of miles but worth the drive.

This place was located right for our trip. We came in from the north on 49. My GPS took us in on Howard folkes rd. Better to keep going south on 49 a mile or two to Lux Rd on left, then 1 mile to Okatoma river rd, left, 1 mile to campground on left. This place is worth the effort.

This place is great.... we are only here overnight, yet it would be great for a longer stay. It is a friendly, family-oriented hidden gem! Easy to ark, great walking area for the dogs, and plenty of nature.

Stop for the night
We stayed here bc of the previous review. We are on our way back to DFW from Disney. Looks like a beautiful property. Would definitely come back. Owners were sweet and met us as we arrived after hours. No cable or antenae. Only picked up 4 channels- so great getaway. Didn't check wifi.

Staff very friendly. This was a last minute reservation and she answered all my questions and even stayed past closing hour to wait and assist with my check in. Family and pet oriented. My son truly enjoyed his fishing time there. Would come back again.
