A Great Spot To Explore MN's North Shore

While not big rig friendly, the sites are well spaced out and the campground has paths that lead to the shore of lake Superior, and up along the cascade River with up close views of it's majestic waterfalls. Clean bathrooms and an on site host. Charming town of Grand Marais is only 10 minutes away.

Peaceful

Had a lovely, private site with gorgeous trees. Got nice use of my hammock tent. Showers are currently closed but was no bother for me personally.

Waterfall City

Nice trails with lots of waterfalls. Clean bathrooms. Our site wasn’t level or I would have given 5 stars.

NOT motor home Friendly

When I called reservations to book a site I explained that We have a 40’ HR motor home. I was told that it would be no problem, that they have sites 60’. What they don’t tell you is that the roads are very narrow and short do to the trees hanging. I scratched up both sides along the top from trees. We left. Trying to get a refund. Not worth scratching up a motor home for.
