Overnighter

For an overnight site. It works. Good water pressure. Easy to use dump station. Stream next to campground doesn't move, so be ready for mosquitos. We would stay again

Love This Little Gem

First the lots are very level, especially for the age of the park. The owners are very nice. They may not always be there. But it is a self-serve and they do not need to be. They have ice, fresh eggs when available, some snacks, all self-serve and on the honor system. The bathrooms do not have water. They are glorified porta-potties. But the ventilation in them are extraordinary. The smell is at a minimum, if everyone keeps the lid closed after use. They are very clean. We stayed 5 nights in July and loved it!! I would suggest calling for reservations, especially on the weekends. Thank you for such a comfortable stay!

Great Bargain!

Just two miles from downtown Mackinaw City, this no frills, quaint campground worked great for a home base while exploring Mackinaw Island. Sites grass and dirt and have a picnic table and fire pit. W/E with dump site at back of park. A nice bonus was WiFi that was okay for email & social media. A surprise was that it’s self serve was not just for a site, but also had ice, firewood and a fridge with a variety of camping/snack items from farm fresh eggs (chicken coop on site!), to ketchup, candy, power drinks, frozen icees and the like. Would definitely stay again!

Nice, clean, quiet self-service campground! Friendly and helpful service. Sites are large and nice and there is a dump station on site.
