Nicest staff I have encountered. Very clean facilities and on demand shuttle service for ferry to the island. Paved bike trail to the center of town is 1.5 miles.

Long Way From Louisiana

We’ve only been RV’ing a couple of years but this is the best KOA we’ve stayed in… Very nice and clean. There’s a bike trail from the park to Mackinaw City (about 2 miles or 10 minutes )… very convenient. If you want to bike to Mackinac Island itself, the ferry is well organized for bicycles. Definitely recommend biking around the island. It’s only 8 miles around and fairly flat… a beautiful ride. However, the park employees are the main reason for my high rating. It’s very well staffed and they know what they’re doing. Park is really well managed and they’re knowledgeable about the area. I really can’t say enough about the staff, especially when compared to some other parks we’ve stayed at. It’s a long way from home, but we definitely would like to stay there again.

Nice Campgeound

Very nice campground. Only stayed for one night but was very pleased. Clean campground with friendly staff and good size sites. Good amount of amenities for the kids. Close to down town area and bridge.

Trip Across USA

This was one of the nicest KOA’s we’ve been to. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful grounds, clean bathrooms and showers, heated pool, firewood and ice for sale. Free shuttle into town if you plan to use the ferry over to Mackinac Island, which is a must do. Highly recommend this very well run KOA.

Lovely Place

The sites were a little snuggy. But the staff were amazingly helpful. Love the text for ice option. And the text checkin. Pool and playground was a hit for the kids. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Experience

This is our first stay at a campground with our new Fifth Wheel and it couldn’t be better! Expert staff, escort service to our site, great advice and tips! Very clean, bathrooms and showers are wonderful, beautiful laundry room. They even pick up your trash from your site daily! We may be spoiled!

Great Park

This park has easy access to lots of attractions. The park was clean and well maintained. Staff very nice. Will definitely stay again.

First time at this campground. Plenty of shade. Hook ups are a tad to far from your camper if you have one. Staff is great. There's even someone working here from my hometown, small world.

Favorite Camping Place

We have stayed here 5 times because we love the area and found this campground to be our home away from home. Campsites and restrooms are consistently clean and the staff cordial. Campground is convenient to all local attractions and quiet.
