Great Quiet One Night Stay
Large park with many sites. $20 for electric site 50 amps. Beautiful lake to hike around with a very interesting display of old steel bridges. About half the sites are level. All gravel. Clean and quiet.

Nice park
Most sites are fairly level with a fire ring and picnic table. There are a few places within the campground to fill with water, if needed, and a dump station on the way out from the campground. The park has a nice lake with walking trails, a beach, and lots of places to fish from. Overall, very nice place to stay.

We Loved It
They just finished a huge lake cleanup project and the water is some of the clearest I've seen in Iowa. Really big nice beach. Super spacious sites. Mostly tent and pop up campers because no water hookups. There are water hydrants around though, I was able to connect 3 hoses to fill my tank. They will not let you keep it hooked up though. Hidden gem, we highly recommend.

Very Nice
What a hidden gem! Beautiful clean, very quiet park, lots of shade, a little hilly but not a problem. Nightly only $20. I liked that they even have tornado shelters throughout the park! Just have mosquito repellent.

Beautiful! A 15 to 20 minute drive off of Interstate 80, but worth it if you like quiet. 20 bucks cant be beat. Electric site, water and dump available. Secure. Sign at gates say no admission after 10:30 pm.

Great park. A little further off road than we would like for one night but it is quiet and serene. We're here on a Sunday night and even foumd their wifi!

Just Beautiful
Quiet and serene. Spaces are spread apart5 so your neighbor isn’t smack next to you. Took my dog for a walk and saw 2 fawns, so cute. The hostess comes around to collect your fee, which is very reasonable. Would definitely stop back again.

Wonderful and Woodsy!
We have been traveling for weeks, and out of 17 states, this has been our favorite spot to sleep! In the woods away from the road traffic and noise. $20 self check in (but the host/ranger comes around; the ranger was extremely friendly and stopped to chat for a bit). Bathrooms are clean and showers are nice. One stall, two showers. Picnic tables and grills at every site. Dumping station. Paved roads (which is awesome for my running!). There are rabbits everywhere!! And the lightening bugs are awesome at sunset! Highly recommend. We want to come back just to vacation here for a few days!

Great Site!
Self register but the attendant will be around to visit. Very nice people and you can tell they are proud of their Park. Power only, no water hookups but water is available. Clean bathhouse, great playground. Our site was very private and we had a nice quiet nights sleep. The pull through gravel site we choose near the drinking water was slightly unlevel but useable. We would definitely stay here again!!

We Love This Place
The campground is in a beautiful park. The setting feels and looks remote but Walmart and all other in-town amenities are only 10 minutes away. The campground has a park for the kids and wifi too. The park it sits in has lots of nice picnic spots, pavilions, walking trails, another large playground and even a beach (usually...currently it's going through a restoration project). The campground is rarely ever crowded. During the week it's extremely quiet.

Disappointed
Site was described as " open year round ", but arrived after dark and found campgrounds locked. Looed like an awesome park. Would have liked to camp there but had to go elsewhere

Good Park
Camp sits are large with many pull through sites. Only 20.00 for the night and they sell fire wood.

This was a fantastic park with privacy and ample space especially during the week when there weren't very many people.
