Run down facilities. Restrooms not very clean. Not a place to go camping

Good For An Event...but That’s It!

I agree with the review before us. We were able to get our rig parked (45ft w/tow) and found the only level spot in the 50amp parking area. All grass. Then it rained for a week. Lots of people got stuck and had to be pulled out. We were at the World Percheron Horse Congress. Would not stay there for any other reason.

Not Worth It!

Unless you are looking to camp for the Iowa State Fair, this camping facility, if you want to call it that, is very rough. And it is expensive! This is a hilly site and they have made no effort to create any even semi level sites. All sites are grass; the roads are barely paved, the facilities are old and run down. This place fills up for the fair, likely because of convenience, but I would NOT suggest this as a campground stop. Too bad, as it could be a cool place.
