Mounds - C15
We stayed 2 nights midweek in July - it was last minute change of plans so we took what was available and C15 was in the middle of open spaces with partial shade. Map hadn't shown the dumpster is directly across from this space. Rained overnight and we awoke to a mud pit. There's a dip just by the location of our camper door which was annoying in dry conditions and even worse when filled with water. Other spaces around this also has mud puddles. At some point the electrical box was backed into - it's pushed back but functions. There is a tree which is nice. Map also didn't show bathrooms between C28 and C30 although my kids said they opened the door and were hit by a swarm of bugs. The restroom on the map includes just toilets but it includes showers which was a nice surprise. Staff at gates were very pleasant. It was a nice campground - we enjoyed our stay, renting a boat at Kents, lunch at Ainsley's, fishing at Mounds and enjoying the 'beach'.

This IDNR park has full hook up available, and is well maintained. Beautiful setting. We camp there frequently. Some trips boating on the lake, others day hiking, then enjoy the nightlife and restaurants in Oxford OH, only 10 minutes away. The Sagamore Resort is just north from the Mounds, on Brookville Lake with marina golf course and restaurant with wine list. Camping does not get much better.
