Enjoyed our stay. Grandchildren participated in an archery demo, found fossils, great trails, Indian mound in campground and lodge/pool was beautiful. Liked the pull through sites. Nice playground. Looks like some upgrades have been done. I few more would be nice.

Just OK For The Weekend
No full hookups, crowded around holidays. Usually loud neighbots, unsupervised kids. Primitive trails. I grew up in Oxford and love the area, its the only reason we stay here once a year in the fall for the holloween festivities.

Trails are all "no pets"
Hiking with our dogs was the reason we came here. Now, a state park, paid for with my tax money does not allow me to take my dogs with me? What an utterly nonsense.
The campground is in o.k. shape, all pull throughs, small area to the next camper, no full hookup and very busy. Check in and even getting back onto the grounds was poorly organized, 5-6 cars in front, it took way too long to get past their one lane "security" and they did not even bother opening up the second lane. Pretty lame.
After some rain, the whole lot we had was muddy.
