Check Your Tires Before You Leave

Check your tires before you drive off. The truckers in that area don’t like to share park spaces with RVers. We were verbally abused by a couple of the truckers parked there. Even though my husband is a retired trucker himself, they just didn’t want us there. And Loves takes the side of the truckers because that’s where most of the money is. So we left. Wish we had checked our tires before we took off. Someone had put some nails under the edge of one our tires so that when we took off, the tire got punctured. Very expensive lesson for us.

I was robbed at 12:30 PM in the middle of the day in the parking lot of the Loves Travel Stop in front of the rear door by approximately 8 men and Nobody seems to care either Loves Corporate or the Local Store New Baden Police were very nice but seemed to give up very quickly.
