Very Nice
Nice & almost level pull through sites with full hookup. Each site has a grill but no fire pit. Lots of trees (some still a bit small), road noise not to bad, really nice bathrooms & showers. Restaurant has really good food & we enjoyed our meals. With Crater of the Moon close this is a really good spot to spend 2 days or an overnight stop. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great Park
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay of two weeks at Mountain View. The owners are very welcoming and go out of their way to help. We had a flat on our RV on the way to the park, and the next morning another tire was flat. The owner went out of his way to help by loaning my husband a jack and tools to get the flat off so we could have it repaired. He even gave him a large piece of cardboard so he didn’t have to lie on the gravel while changing the tire. The park is beautiful & surrounded by mountains. The WiFi & Verizon service is great. The bathrooms are some of the nicest I’ve seen. But the hosts make this park a very special place. I almost forgot to mention that they have a restaurant on site, and the food is delicious. DO NOT miss the ribs— they are so tender & literally fall off the bone. We very highly recommend Mountain View!!!

Very Nice!
Simply a gem! Stayed here to explore the Craters of the Moon and wish we could stay longer. Wonderful people and a very well maintained and clean park. Be sure to try the pulled pork at the restaurant as well! Perfection!

Nice Stop Over
Craters of the Moon visit and this was a nice place to spend a few nights. Section d has nice large pull throughs with easy out. The owners are very nice and working at getting the park fixed up. At the suggestion of reviews we ate dinner there and it was yummy. Small selection of food and not that many tables. Get there when they open and enjoy. On a side note, Arco hasn't much to do, so a few nights would be all you need.

Happy Camper
One of the nicest spots we’ve been in for a while. Park like setting. The guys fussy, but it shows. Easy in/out. Water tasted great, we filled up all our water jugs. Quiet, beautiful sunset over the mountains.

Bad Owner
Tells you one price then charged another. Wife caught the mistake went back to office, then he starts making excuses, I raised the price, my girl told you wrong price, told him you gave us the price two weeks ago. He said well it's not that much more? He said you people spend thousands on your rigs then you question my rates? Next day waited 55min. to get liver and onions and cheese burger and onion rings, $34. No menu, prices of the top of his head. Also turned on the sprinklers and sprayed the side of my rig. I got the balance of the week refunded and got the hell outta there and went to the KOA, same price and they have cable TV and a pool.

Older, but nicely spaced gravel pull throughs. Best value for seeing Craters of the Moon NP. Full hookups and 30amp. 50amp available at some sites. Good Sam/AAA/military 10% off. Great WiFi which was a rare bonus. AT&T 4-5 bars LTE.

Lovely, Would Stay Here Again
Very nice older well kept RV park. Semi spread out, grass, gravel on pull through. We didn’t use the bath or laundry facilities. We stayed two nights. Ron smoked ribs Saturday night as take out and they were excellent! WiFi was great. We have two large dogs so it is always helpful when there is grass for them (which we always pick up after). Always appreciate it when we aren’t packed in like sardines.

This is a very well maintained campground with shady sites and a grassy area between each site. An added bonus is a small restaurant which serves outstanding barbecued ribs and smoked potatoes. The staff was friendly, but the manager seemed overly concerned about keeping the facilities pristine. He intentionally changed the code to the bathrooms twice during our stay without telling campers. He stated that rv campers should use their own bathrooms.

Nice place to spend a night or two. We were here about 19 years ago and the trees were small. My word now they are big and look great. Only thing negative about our stay is the grass needs some work and a lot more water. There is traffic noise but where is there not in a park like this. Did not use toilet or laundry so no comment on those. We will be back, just hope it won’t take us so long. Dogs are okay, but you will have to go through a primer on picking up dog poop.

Very Nice Campground
Very Nice, comfortable campground. Good size sites in 30 Amp area and very large sites in 50 Amp area. Nice grassed in area with picnic table. Most sites are very level. Gravel roads and sites. Small laundry. Sometimes open restaurant in office, didn't get to try it. About 45 lb of water pressure. All this at a reasonable price. Well worth the stop for a few days. I think we'll return to visit the area and stay here.

Great Experience
The staff was super friendly at check-in explained everything in great detail and offered assistance with finding local activities and places to see. The restaurant is small but the food is good. Nearly every spot is shaded and has grass. All the utilities worked perfectly fine. I would recommend this location to anyone.

Newbie At Full Time RV Life
I really can't say enough great things about this campground, or Ron, its owner. Staying here for my first few months of RV life was a great experience. Ron was so helpful and patient as I learned to live in my new RV and answered tons of my questions. He keeps the campground clean, tidy, and quiet. The spaces are open and you don't feel crowded right up against your neighbor. Arco doesn't have a lot to offer but you'll be pleased if you find yourself in Arco staying at Mountain View.

Gateway To Craters Of The Moon
The only thing this part doesn't have is cable TV because of its remote location. Other than that it is a GEM. Clean, trees, quiet, plenty of room between rigs, level. There is a restaurant onsite with live music. Don't look anywhere else.

A Gem of an RV Park
Mountainview RV Park is an unexpected gem of a campground about 18 miles east of Craters of The Moon Nat'l Monument. The sites were reasonable at $39 per night. These are spacious sites with 20' of grass between the sites. There are well trimmed mature trees between all the sites for ample shade. All the sites are pull throughs no backins here! They also have very clean showers and restrooms. We'd definitely stay here again when traveling across Idaho on Highway 26 to the Grand Teton Nat'l Park.

Great CG
I love the place, plenty of shade, grass, level sites, very quiet, and reasonable rates, $39 for me. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. Be very careful of the hot water in the shower , I got scolded when someone flushed. There's a little bit of road noise, but I can overlook that considering how wonderful everything else is here.

Beautiful park!
What a wonderful experience from calling for a reservation, check in, location, ease of parking, grassy, tree lined spaces, to the view and the delicious smoked, loaded potatoes and ribs! The owners, her staff and family, (especially the dishwasher Scott, who was also an entertaining, stand in, accomplished waiter!) were all friendly! Excellent experience and plan on staying here again!

Nice park, had stayed before, liked it. This time, when I called in to reserve a spot, I was told to bring my Good Sam card into the office when I checked in. The owner tall man with all white hair looked at me waiting in line with my Good Sam card in my hand and said "that's not going to work" unsure what he meant by that remark. I knew they were having internet issues so went back to the office after and asked for the wifi password, I was told by two people that the Internet was down, left and went back to my trailer. A few minutes later the same white haired drove up in a golf cart, the only thing he said was "so what's the issue with the Internet"I said I had no issue, just wanted to check some mileage. He drove off. I was never given the codes to enter the restrooms or the wifi password by the office. A very nice lady who was camped there came over and gave me the information. The comments made me feel very uneasy like he was challenging me. Will not stop again

Nice Park & Cafe
Chose park as it was close to "Craters of the Moon". Turned out to be a gem in middle of nowhere! All RV sites are drive thru with full hookups, and seem level. With Good Sam, price was very reasonable $39. Decided to try the Cafe for dinner. Excellent ribs and make sure to get the smoked loaded baked potatoe (killer!) and cheap beer & wine, with nice selection. Staff were friendly and learning (first night of season). Owners were working the kitchen, and came by to chat. Recommend this park if you are in area, would stay here again.

Pretty Park, Good Restaurant
This is a pretty park. Grassy and easy to negotiate. A mile or so south of town, so it was quiet. The people are friendly and gracious. And the restaurant is good.

Very quiet. Restaurant looked delicious but we had food to cook. Helpful owner. Grass around all sites with picnic tables. Highly recommend this RV park.
