Some sites with trees, some without. Full facilities but pool was closed due to some mechanical issue. Near Craters of the Moon (17 miles) so we stayed two nights so that we could spend a full day at the National Monument. Loved Craters but it did get hot by mid afternoon. We drove the camp loop of onsite CG while there and it is special built amongst the lava flows but would be hot since few trees and no electricity, also is FCFS.

Off the main highway, quiet at night. Roomy and long enough spaces for big rigs. Great helpful staff. Close to Craters of the Moon. Maintenence staff visible all day keeping the place clean and mowed. Free waffles. Evening meals and ice cream offered for a fee. Would stay again.

Great Staff
Staff are very nice and helpful. When we checked in they drove in front of us in a golf cart to the spot. They where watering the grass though out the park when we got there so they shut off the sprinklers and moved the picnic table out of the spot so we could just pull in. We noticed they did that for everyone that pulled in. Grounds are well kept.
