Our site #12 was on a steep hillside. After the 3rd settling in and more boards for leveling we were able to make the hike from front to back more easily. Beautiful, clean & quiet. Be aware that this and other campgrounds are now charging $7/day electricity fee, which nearly negates any discount with a NF or NP Pass. Some states like FL are doing this too.

Beautiful wooded sites. Plenty of options for fun things to do with kids. Very nice, clean bath house. Can’t wait to come back.

NICE NF CG
This ntl forest cg is 1 of the nicest gov't cg's I've run across, and I've been to many across the country. Bathrooms very new and clean, water and elec at many sites and a couple even with full hookups. I agree that large class A's and fifth wheels wouldn't work well here. Very quiet and secluded. Warning - using the navigation from some of the apps does not bring you here, so stop and read the directions on how to get here from the government website.

We stayed there in July and had a great time. Camp host was so friendly, attentive, and helpful. Very clean facilities. Our site was great but had a lot of poison oak and unfortunately my puppy's leash allowed her to get into it. Beautiful sunset over the lake made for great photos. Close to the Toccoa so we did some kayaking and fishing on the river.

The campground is small and quiet. Be aware that there is no sewer at sites but there IS a clean and neat dump station. The sites are back in and the roads are narrow in the campground. I wouldn't recommend it for large Class A's.

Nice Wooded Campground
Nice campground. Very wooded and spacious. Very clean, staff very nice and helpful. Many Sites are not level, be prepared. It would be a 5 star if they had sewer hookups and cable. You are not able to get any over the air channels so bring lots of DVDs. I will camp here again.

Good campground for smaller campers-not for large 5th wheel. Quiet and well shaded. Good access to Lake Blue Ridge. Able to put in ksyaks from several campsites.
One of most peaceful campgrounds we go to, perfect for relaxing.
