Nice Park Newly Upgraded
All sites have been redone, gravel with new boarders, 50/30/20 and sewer. All sites have raised grill, moveable picnic table that’s heavy, light post and fire pit. WiFi throughout the park was pretty good. Bathhouses nice with vending and laundry. Camp store, lake, new playground with exercise station machines outdoor. They do offer military and senior discount. Coming up hwy 19 over Blood Mt is mountainous, curving with some switchbacks. We pulled 33’ with ford 350 diesel no issues. Turn into park or out is tight.

Site 38 Sucks
Road goes uphill and because site 38 is a pull through the site has the same incline as the road and in order to have the utilities on the driver side you must go all the way to the end to the loop. It was impossible to level the 25 footer MH. No wonder it was available, nobody wants it!and we paid 2 dollars more than for a back in that was available. We moved to a different site next day. Bought wood and could not burn it because it must’ve been cut the day before, 12 dollars up in smoke, literally.

Fantastic first RV trip
Driving from Florida for our first trip. Vogel was amazing. Just 1 day of all day rain, but the trails were great and our Campground Hosts Jeff and Denise were awesome! Spot 9 has a deep grade that didn't allow for our 36' Imagine 3100rd to back in to, but were able to switch to Spot 35 and couldn't be happier. 3-4 miles per gallon on the drive uphill, lol, but definitely worth the drive.

Early Camper
8Not the best weather for the last weekend in Feb but still enjoyed the park. Great facilities with something for everyone. Will be back in the summer.

Mountain Escape
Amazing wooded state park with a lake, waterfall, and trails. Campsites for all types of campers as well as several cabins to rent. Very clean bath houses. Park is at the base of Blood Mountain very close to Alpine Village of Helen.

Great Getaway
Had a wonderful time in this park. I spent a few days here during spring break and had the red loop almost to myself. For a couple of days, I was even the only one there. Immaculate bathhouses where you have toilet, sink, and shower all in one room to yourself. Great amenities in the park: lake and waterfall, playgrounds, mini golf, outdoor exercise equipment and games. Great short hikes.

Very pleasant staff. Allowed change of site to more desirable location. Brand new bathhouses with private accessible facility (think caregiver of opposite sex or families with young children). Absolutely gorgeous park. Lots of trails. Don't miss the hike to the falls. Sites along river are quite small/congested.

"Griskins"
Located in the N. GA mountains, this park is a great family spot. Park is clean and well maintained. Camp host was very helpful and even provided fishing advise. Some of the sites can be tight, we had to request another due to size and the staff was very helpful. A stocked lake for fishing is provided with a walking trail around the perimeter. A playground, putt putt and creekside meeting area are a couple of the great things for families. As mentioned, there is a Creek that runs through the campground which terminates into the lake. It's a great place for cooling off and convenient as it runs next to the playground. Verizon cell service is spotty and unreliable like most places in the mountains. Overall, a great campground that is clean and beautiful.

Our family has been going to Vogel for over 30 year now. We stay for week every summer and wish we could stay longer. We just love this park.

Great Place
Really nice state park with both back in and pull through sites. You Can make a reservation but not for a specific site. Park has a lot of amenities but some are only available on the weekends beyond summer.
