Rode Out A Storm

What an amazing overnight stay. The waves were crashing about 5 ft in front of our class b van. The wind was blowing and the van rocking I thought I was at anchor. It was wonderful, watching the cruise ships coming in and the bridge was all beautiful lights. It was an amazing night.

Was going to visit this rest area but apple maps says that I 275 is a toll road and tolls are required to get there.

Best View

Rest area accessible from both directions. View of the Skyway and skylines just beautiful. Filed in with others and trucks. Noise is what you would expect but slept just fine. Armed security...even saw him walking around the lot. Watched the sunset and sunrise. No issues. Didn't use facilities as we have our own.

Beautiful sunset and very relaxing! Highly recommended
