Very Nice People.
My husband and I spent a week here January 2003 after my father passed away. It was the only place we could find an opening at this time of year. Unfortunately, we did not have an opportunity to use any of the amenities due to the reason for the trip. It was quite pricey, but.....we were thankful to find it..

Great For Our First RV Camp Site
This place was nice. 100 a night, we stayed one night. Nice pool and other amenities, friendly workers. Had a nice children's playground. Very accommodating staff. Tickets were extra but the kids love the safari. We took our 31ft camper with no problems. Great experience. It was a great stop before heading to the keys.

Underwhelmed
Not great. This was our first KOA to stay at and paid $218 for two nights. Our electricity was shut off at 9am for no particular reason, the bathrooms/showers were closed due to covid but everything else was fully operational which didn't make sense to me. I was under the impression that this was at the safari, but it's next to the safari- and we had to pay $27/per person to enter although we were in one vehicle (drive through only due to Covid) and make an online appointment. Over all it was overpriced for the amenities and experience.

Great stay
Came to stay for one night, and it was quite. Very friendly ladies in the office and the guy that took me to my spot was awesome. The KOA is less that 20 feet from the entrance to Lion Country Safari. Full hookups, no fire pit and no grills at the spots.

Nice But Overpriced
Stopped for one night in the winter. This place was filled so call ahead. Very large campgrounds and well maintained. You can hear the lions roar in the morning which stopped my dogs in their tracks. LOL. Discount tickets to the safari. About 12 miles from turnpike exit 97. Nice wide roads. Again nothing special to account for the price of over 100 dollars.

A Trip Of Many First
Our first time camping at a KOA, with our first camper, and first as family with our 9 month old daughter. We live 3 miles from here and wanted to test our new camper out! Arrived on Saturday at 11am, called ahead to see if we could check in early and they approved because there wasn’t another camper on our site(15). ParkStaff was very nice at check-in, went over the site and rules then was escorted to our site. The gentleman directed us to help line up the camper close to the pad. The grounds were exactly what we expected, not fancy but not run down. Pretty quiet for 4th if July weekend. They spaced everyone out pretty well so we weren’t next to another camper. Amenities that we used were good. Went to the pool at 9am the day we left and was perfect temp, not over chlorinated. Walked around in the evening, mosquitos not bad at all. Took note of some nice camp sites for next time. Checked out before the rains came on Sunday. Overall experience was great! Will go back for sure.

One Of My Favorite Spots
We love coming here, but the price is outrageous $95.00 a night $$$$$$$, we would love the option of not paying for tickets we will not use. Other than that we love this place.

Only Fair
Quite pricey for what you get. We were told the price would drop on May 1st, which it did not. Sites were a bit rustic and there was no cable. We did receive tickets for the safari but honestly didn't need them and would have preferred a lower rate. Perhaps a choice should be offered?

Lions and Stuff!
We really liked this park. It seemed a bit pricey at first being about $80 a night but that also includes a 2 day pass to the safari park. With the pass it was absolutely worth the price! The safari where you drive through the park was huge! And a giraffe tried to jump in the bed of our truck, it was really cool. But make sure you take everything out of the bed of your truck because they might also try and take your stuff. The walk through park of the park was also very big and seemed like it would be a lot of fun for little ones if you have any. The campground was pretty full, and the spaces were a bit close together but everything was clean and all the neighbors were nice and kept to themselves. The bathrooms were clean, free and I never had to wait to use any of the facility's. I would definitely stay here again.
