Stayed 8 nights in late December thru January 3rd. Very nice and well-maintained, quite a few RV spaces in a mostly manufactured housing park. Staff and most of the regulars stay here we're very friendly. Only real complaint was they advertised cable on the RV apps only to find out this not available to the short term stays.

A Local‘s Nightmare
We live locally south of Sarasota and were looking to book a night or two to do something in Sarasota, in winter/season.
This park will not accept short term for all the snowbirds are preferred. All county and state parks are booked without even a single night available for a class A.
For locals it is absolutely impossible to find camping anywhere from early October through April and it is very much becoming ridiculous. Sorry, I know this is not a review on the park itself but on their customer service. Locals are people too, and even if it is just for one or two nights, we still pay with money.
We run AirBnB‘s and still accept short term because money is money. And a campsite doesnt even require cleaning and laundry like an AirBnB does. Buggers!!!

Manatees In The Cove!
We wanted to stay in Sarasota for a few days but the local county park doesn't allow pets so we opted for this RV park. It is a 55+ community with many manufactured homes and many large RV's that are there all winter but anyone can stay a few nights with a trailer and the place is immaculate and everyone was super friendly. Bathrooms, pool, hot tub, laundry, game room and book library were immaculate. Not major private spots but really quiet and good for a few days. If you reserve by phone make sure you get the gate code to get in if coming in after 5pm. They also have manatees often in the cove of their private little island.
