Hidden Gem
This is a beautiful park. The sites are level and very spacious. The owners are very friendly. The bathroom and laundry room are very clean. The wi-fi allowed for movie streaming but they have a wonderful dvd / book collection. We hope to return again.

Nice Place to Stay
All the positive reviews are accurate. Owners are super friendly. Level sites with lots of trees. WiFi was great. I was able to stream Netflicks, something most RV parks can’t provide. I came off season so there weren’t as many people there or things to do in La Veta. Would come back again, especially earlier in the season.

Great Little Park!
Second time here and place is still a great stay. Very clean, very level and all involved are very helpful. The “deluxe sites” have seemingly brand new 50A pedestals which shows these folks are upgrading the place. One caveat- the deluxe sites are pretty much full sun, not too much of a problem at 7K elevation but they’ll be a little less cool in the daytime, if you can get by on 30A maybe opt for the interior shaded “standard site”. Either way, you won’t be disappointed here and I still give them 5 stars! Tip-make reservations at Aly’s Restaurant ahead of time when you know you’re in town, they book up quick.

Nice Campground
Overall a nice quiet campground. Clean showers and laundry. Nice game room. Only negative is the dog owners not taking their pets to the dog area instead of walking them behind other campsites.

Awesome Place
Located in la Veta Colorado, a small quaint beautiful town 60 miles from great sands national park. Quite, Beautiful park with river running through, lots of trees, excellent WiFi. Level gravel sites with plenty room. Staff goes well and beyond great service. While here our black tank clogged. Went to office and asked for help, and the staff who I believe was Becky radioed for help and before I got back to my site two persons were waiting to help, one which was a onsite rv tech. Problem solved. Will stay here again and do recommend to others. Had a wonderful stay

Wonderful Stay
We were impressed with the reviews of Circle the Wagons. I called to inquire about space and received the pleasant voicemail message and subsequent call back. Becky Johnston who owns the campground with her husband, Blake, were so friendly and welcoming. An entire packet of information about the lovely area around La Veta was provided. The camp spots are all long and separated from the neighbors with grass and trees in addition to the Cuchara River flowing along one side of the property. There are even two tent spots with privacy fencing and adorable old time little trailers. There is a clean, reasonably priced laundry, a game room, lots of DVDs and books, great WiFi. We walked into town for milkshakes and Becky called to offer to pick us up when the weather appeared a little threatening. Blake helped with a problem on our RV. In the evening Blake and Becky lit the fire pit and guests gathered around to visit in the cool of the evening. Fabulous hosts. Great place to stay.
Reply from owner/manager: Thank you for the great review, Irene. We really enjoy what we do and are glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you back soon! Becky

Amazing
This place is a must stay at when you are in southern Colorado. It is not far off of I-25 and is situated in the small little town if Le Veta. The owners are hands on and are just the nicest people you will meet. They were so helpful with our stay. The views and the small creek behind our site was picturesque. They have a human sized scrabble board and we could not stop playing it. They also have a campfire at night where we roasted marshmallows. Each site has full hookups and a picnic table. The public restrooms and showers were well maintained and clean. They have a full DVD collection, books and foosball table to help entertain. The small town was fun to visit. They have a small grocery store with an ice cream bar and old fashioned soda fountain drinks. We will definitely be back later this summer.
Reply from owner/manager: Thank you for the great review, Jon! We enjoyed your family staying at the park and are excited that you have made another reservation this summer! We appreciate your review and will see you, Paula and the family this summer! Thank you, Becky

Nice
Clean, quite and roomy sites. We were backed up to a small river flowing. The showers were very clean with plenty of hot water. We stayed 2 nights and will stay there again when we're in the area. Oh and there is a nice affordable grocery store right up town you can walk to.

Great Place to Stay
Denny and Jay are warm, friendly, and ready with knowledge of the surrounding area. The park is clean, sites are level, not too close, well laid out, easy to back your rig into, and waking up to views of the Spanish Peaks is a fantastic bonus. Pay a bit more and back up to the sweet sound of the Cuchara "river" (more like a stream) right behind your campsite. An excellent place to stay, highly recommended.

Nice campground. Sites are level. Wifi is great. Clean facilities and friendly staff. We only stayed for one night while passing through, but will be coming back to check out some of the other attractions in the area. Nice quaint little town with small shops. Fill up or top off your tank in Walsenburg or Alamosa , as there are only two small gas stations in town. Big rigs may have a hard time using.

Gem Of A Place
Owners are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about what's happening in town. Quaint little friendly town. Wonderful place to visit. Play in the creek, a game of scrabble on the large scrabble set, relax under the trees. The dog run is wonderful. Best WiFi we have had. We will be making this a yearly visit!
