Roamer
Thousand Trails bought this campground 2 years ago. It's now open to the public. FHU at all sites except for the wilderness area. Most sites require some leveling.
Facilities are very dated and in need of upgrades. Area is very scenic and fishing is very good in Blue Mesa Reservoir. Town of Gunnison is nearby for shopping and refueling all vehicles.

Kid Friendly Campground
We received a "free" year membership when we purchased our rv. The kids absolutely loved this campground. There is a club house with games for the kids to play. Outside of the kids club house there is mini golf, basketball, playground, horse shoes, and a couple other things. There is also a small lake for 12 and under to fish on. On the campground there is an indoor pool/hot tub and an outdoor pool/hot tub.
There is plenty of spots to stay. Smaller campsites with hook-ups have a little more shade than the bigger rv sites. There is a "wilderness area" that is great for tent/small rv with no hook-ups. They also have quite a few cabins around the campground to rent.
We do dry camping camping most of the time, so the sites are closer than we are used to, but the smaller rv sites with hook-ups are more spacious than larger rv spots.

Complimentary stay
We received a free 4-night stay with our Class C Motorhome purchase, on the condition we have a "tour." Pleasant, well-maintained sites. Almost all amenities shut down from COVID, but looks like it would be a good place for families/grandkids. Beautiful club house and well-maintained grounds. There's a small pond for kids to fish and other activities. Wifi was terrible and we plugged in our coaxel cable only to find out there was no cable service available at our site. Generallly, the membership deal involves low cost($10)/free camping around the US lifetime for around $13k, plus discounts available. Didn't find many campgrounds in surrounding states, more in CA, WA TX and FL, MI

Not open To The Public
We got turned away saying "membership only". No offer of a tour, just 'members only'
