Windy!

Stayed here in mid-May. Stayed in our 26-ft travel trailer in loop D with electricity. Water available at the dump station, located before entering the campground loops. No vegetation over 3-ft high, so don't expect forrested setting! Please be aware that every afternoon they experience severely windy conditions, but quite calm and relaxing in the morning and evening. Overall, the setting is peaceful, clean, and a few hiking trails located 2 to 15 mi away from the Elk Creek campground where we stayed.

Very nice and clean campground. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Electric sites are available in loop D and Senior pass holders receive a 50% discount. Reservations are accepted. Very scenic area and located at Blue Mesa Reservoir in Curecanti National Recreational Area. Fish cleaning station by the boat launch.

Loop d has electric ...nice bathrooms with flushing toilets...overall great campground... water and dump station.

Pleasant and Priced Right

Stayed 1 night with the TT. For a paved pull-through with electricity and a view, it's tough to beat for the price.
