It's RV'ing
One of our favorite. Yes the spaces are tight. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Looks like recently they have added new grills, some fencing, and general repairs. Great place to stay, as there is lots for kids and adults. Close to bike/walking path that leads to Avila Beach, it's about 2 miles.

Does Not Support Our Military!!!!
Told campers they had to remove their US Navy flag. Campers are proud parents of a Navy man out to see right now. They were told they had to remove their flag

Very clean, gorgeous camp site! Staff extremely helpful and nice! Employee in golf cart led us to our site and helped us back in. It’s what they do here. Would have stayed a week if we had the time! Highly recommend!

Avila Beach
Came here during “pandemic “ clean place with a pool. Kids movie at night was fun. The trail that leads to the beach was awesome.... close enough to explore surrounding area. Pismo. Sites are very close to each other.. that’s the worst.

Never again in this lifetime
This place is packed in tight. There is no personal space the rigs are 8 feet apart and 3 feet in the back. Almost a "Grey Poupon" distance. We were only spending a night, how bad could it be? Well,
they changed my spot, the parking host was useless and was directing me to run through tree branches. I sent him away.

Always fun
Enjoy the weather, walking on Bob Jones trail and a close walk to Avila Barn for fresh produce.
Very friendly and very nice little store.
Return for sure

Dump Station
We have stayed at this KOA numerous times since 2012. The site has been upgraded in that time and is one of our favorite locations. I do not remember ever seeing a dump station at this park. Also the site map does not show that there is a dump station. Does not mean it does not exist. There is a sewer system vent stack near space 73 located on north perimeter of the park that does emit some odor. I have been in this spot numerous times and do not find it objectionable. Safe travels.

Worst place I've ever stayed at. Paid for premium pull through site and was given a regular site with no compensation on fees, and our site had the sewer clean out for the entire park so anytime anybody dump their tank we got a strong smell of human waste. Complained to the on-site manager and basically was just told to deal with it.
