Love This Place

I grew up at Ocean Cove all summer long. We went every single summer because our grandparents Vic and Irene Bohn Live there during the summer for the four months. So all the children and grandchildren came out all summer long to camp. My family has been going to this campsite for almost 70 years. My dad grew up there as a little boy and he’s 75 years old now. My children now go camping there. This is an amazing place. Ocean Cove will have a very important place in my heart. There’s so many family memories and many more memories to come.

Great Views.

Loved the ocean views and first come first serve policy. One gripe is the $2, 3 minute pay showers are open air with poor water flow. With average seasonal temperatures barely at 60 degrees and high ocean winds, not a pleasant experience. Having no dump station meant cutting our stay short. $28 per night for million dollar views made the lack of facilities worth it.

I love this place. The fact that it's a first come, first serve camp ground is great. I hate having to make reservations.

Great views,large sites,very friendly owners, great deal at $26/night. No power or wifi. Outhouses were a little iffy by late Sunday. Still a great place at a great price. Unbelievable sunsets and amazing hiking

Fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. Hike the Sonoma coast, search the tide pools. Great place and friendly people.

Amazing Campground

Absolutely beautiful place to camp with amazing ocean views and rock fishing. Privately owned by very friendly staff. Unfortunately we witnessed several idiots that can't follow a simple leash law for dogs and felt they had to verbally attack the host for being reminded of this simple law. You are a guest on private property paying a modest 26$ for incredible views and endless hiking. One couple was banned from returning.... Excellent decision! The stupidity and arrogance of these idiots is beyond comprehension. Follow the F'n rules and show some human decency and it should be a great place for many years.
