Name & Ownership Change

Name changed to lighthouse cove. Great and happy staff members. The town is struggling and forgotten. You can watch the San Francisco govt drop off bus loads of homeless from the campground. The water treatment plant is down the road—for the ones who know what that means. I would stay in Klamath and commute to the town of needed.

Nice Beach Access Campground

Nice campground right off Hwy 101. Was greeted by a very nice man who was helpful with picking out a great site. Only down sides for me was WiFi was very slow, could barely check email. Also cable TV was not good, a lot of “snow” on all channels. Driveway had a lot of pot holes filled with water. There is a $5.00 up charge for premium sites along the beach.

A Pleasant Experience

We reserved a spot for our 25-ft motorhome a couple of days early. We were traveling a long distance, and not sure what time we would arrive. Also, we were going to be leaving by 6:00 the next morning. Our host, Randy, was pleasant and reassuring. He gave us his site number and said that if the office was closed, I could knock on his door, and he would take my payment and check me in. That took all the stress out of a tight situation.

Don't Bother.

Very disappointed with this park. Nice that it's next to the beach and that's all the good I can say. Tried to do laundry in the late afternoon but room locked and was told person with key would be in next morning. Did me no good as I was leaving in morning. Bathrooms not clean nor was shower so skipped shower. It was raining and the gravel drive and walkways were flooded with huge puddles. Will not stay here again.
