Humble Servant
On c loop, # 27. 23 ft camper. Able to back in and leave SUV hooked up. well out of the road. Electric & water Staying 3 nights. Spectacular surroundings of all varieties of cactus, including Saguaro. Each site is separated by Soap Berry and cactus and mounded up naturally occuring landscape. On this Mar 11th day, temp is 75° , light breeze. views of mountains and cacti. extremely well run park. my conversations included changing reservations a month or so ago. The person on the phone at Pima Cty were extremely patient and helpful. Very glad to be here and would definitely return.

Beautiful Campground
We stayed 3 nights in December and loved the campground. Many vehicles kept their hood propped open at all times. I asked why and was told it was to discourage the pack rats from nesting in the engine. I’m not sure if this is an issue all year or just in cooler temperatures. I also sprayed wheels and everything that touched the ground with sweet bathroom spray. I know mice at home hate sweet scents.

My Favorite Campground In az
Beautiful desert campground with amazing views. Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Bathrooms, no showers. Electricity at sites and water and dump station available. Great hiking. We never miss a chance to get friends together and spend a couple of days or more here.

Love This Campground!
A very nice desert campground. Sites have electric, but there is water nearby to fill jugs or what we do is we fill up the camper before we get to the site and set up. Very quiet, dark starry nights. Conveniently located near the desert museum and Old Tucson type attractions. Surrounded by saguaro's, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Great getaway.

Absolutely The Best
We stayed 5 days and loved every minute. So much to see and do here. Sites are well spaced. If you can get a site that backs into the desert the privacy is awesome. Staff and volunteers are top drawer. There are two dump stations and lots of places to fill your water tanks. ( There are 3, easily accessible fresh water spigots near the dump station.) Night sky is there in all it’s splendor.

I'll Be Back!
This is my first visit. I'll be back. We used this as a base to explore South East AZ and it was a good choice. It's well mantained with lots of natural vegetation between the well spaced campsites. There's a feeling of isolation and the nights are quiet and dark.

Best Place To Be...
This is my first time staying here and I assure you it won't be the last...the views are breathtaking the restrooms clean, the water and dump station's easy-to-use and accessible. All of this beauty for $20 a night...i will take this over any 5 stars hotels any day of the week.
