Dreamy
Stayed 1 night here at the Grand Canyon. Beautifuly maintained park & roads are great! Pulled in after midnight w/out a reservation. Each day they allow a limited number of "first come first served" pads for tents & trailers. Office was closed, but they leave a list of FF options at the window. We got the last FF RV site left for the night & payed $18 in the morning. Max RV is 30'. Sites are small/ close, but the woodsy feel makes it feel natural. Clean bathrooms. Hammocks allowed (unlike some national parks.) This park is INSIDE the GC park area, which means you must also pay the park fee ($38) to get to the campground/Grand Canyon. Check-out is 11am. Generator hours are limited to 2hrs morning & evening. Campsites have table & fire ring only. Water/Dump station at entrance. The next morning we drove our RV 5-10 mins to the GCanyon Visitors Center & began @Mather Point - though you could walk if you're up for it, or free shuttle at entrance. Mid-Nov 25° nights, short sleeves days.

Nice campground on the South Rim. Close to the Village. Full grocery store just around the corner. Has showers, but $2.50 for just 5 minutes.

One Of Our Go To’s
Fall is a great time to go if you are a wildlife lover. The elk are in rut.... south Rim is walking distance, lots of trails to hike or bike. Clean bathrooms and laundry/showers nearby. It does fill up so if you do not have reservations better get there early,

Mather Campground
Stayed in the Fir loop for three nights in early March. Nicely spaced, mostly level sites. Shuttle bus stop right at the entrance although you could have walked to lots of sights. Clean bathrooms. Showers and laundry near the campground entrance. We had a very pleasant experience here.
