Well Maintained
Stayed one night in the upper campground, found everything very well maintained. T-mobile tower is on site, so connectivity was great. Tree coverage is open and you see all your neighbors. The road from the interstate is very twisty and has steep hills, but it's in excellent shape. Don't miss the scenic overlooks. Park has lots of trails and amenities, but I was only passing through.

Good For Families
Way too crowded with no privacy. Great place for tale gating and family gatherings. Very noisy.

Nice Park
Stayed in upper campground. Most back in sites have plenty of space. Bathhouse new and well kept. No ATT cell service at campground but had 2 bars at tower and camp store. Good TV reception. No electrical issues. Only complaint is no good connecting trails that we could find between campground and features (tower, camp store, bald rock, etc) so limited to walking the park roads but was not horrible.

Good Camp Area
All in all the camp site wasn't bad. Depending upon the site, you might feel crowded, but other sites seem to have more room. Hookups include 50/30/15 amps for electric, water, and sewer. The bathhouse was very clean and well maintained. There is no wi-fi, and cell service is practically non existent for Verizon. Would go back and would recommend to others.

Beautiful place, however: The "improved" camp area needs paved badly. It's super rough in there. It seems like a non camper, or a drunk guy planned the sites too. There's sites with fire rings and built-in concrete picknick bench only a few feet from the road, water and power poles on the wrong side, some sites simply aren't accessible by anything but a tent. However, there were some awesome sites too. I feel like there was trash everwhere, especially down by the lake. . Even with that being said, I'd go back. It was a cool place. Views were amazing, especially at sunset.

This park could be so much more. The camping area needs some money spent on it to improve the experience. The view was great and nice lake to take a swim.

Too Secluded For Me
I'd at least like the ability to call 911 if I need to
