Decent One Night Stand
The Hosts were great but the site was uneven and small. I have a 36 foot 5th wheel. Managed to unhook and set up but really had to figure where to park my truck afterwards as the site was almost to small to squeeze it in. Store was good and service was as well.

Better Than Any Port In A Storm
Wyoming is notorious for winds that'll knock over Semis, much less tall Class A RVs. So, as the reader boards warned of gusts up to 75MPH, and I80 was closed to trucks and RVs, I looked for an RV park. The KOA app instantly found this place, but unfortunately, by the time we got the app to finish loading, we'd passed the exit... We turned around and headed back as I called for availability. I was surprised when they didn't answer the phone with the KOA name, but turns out the campground closed for the season on Halloween. Luckily, they keep a section open for emergency cases like ours. Water and sewer were available at the entrance, but the sites only have power. We needed the 50A to run the heaters with that 35-45MPH wind! Sites are not to level, but close enough for our needs, little to no traffic in this weather, and our deer greeters disappeared for cover. They had the handicap bathroom open and WARM for showers. No complaints

Wonderful hosts!!! They greeted us upon arrival, our site was level and easy to get in and out. The facilities we're very clean and inviting. During the day there were visitors resting in the campground... Deer... It was great. We will return for an extended visit in the future.

Desert sites, utilities are up front, TV was good, close to the Hwy 80. Some noise doesn't matter I run a fan all night. Fuel close, just down the road. WiFi was good. Would stay again, people from the green zone should understand desert is dry, Dusty, hot and windy.

Terrible place. Sites are not level, owner Marilyn was extremely rude, fires not allowed because of winds, terrible cable selection, noisy highway, hook ups are up front of the pull thru site, owners had a huge barking dog that they wont tend to, and too expensive for what it is. Never again.

This place is the pits from my perspective. Very windy but not the parks problem. Sites are not level or near to level. My auto leveler wouldn’t level our trailer because the site sloped to much. No trees, but of course that is southern Wyoming! Dusty and lots of hwy 80 truck noise. All gravel and not grass as shown in the site pictures. Never again. I have been at some absolutely beautiful KOAs. The hookup position on the site is not good. Power is in the middle. We have a 38ft trailer and power connection is on the back. Centered on the site leaves no parking room.

Best KOA Yet!
This KOA exceeded expectations. Wonderful, friendly check in. Everyone had nice bright yellow KOA shirts on. It was very professional and they took their jobs of making our stay comfortable seriously. Nice change from our previous experience. Reasonable prices. Well-kept Park with staff to show you where to drive thru with a smile and wave. Bathrooms very clean, good hot water. Dog park was welcome. Gravel was fine and grassy area with picnic tables. Kid’s play yard was very nice. Yes there is some highway and train sounds at night, but we stayed in another local park and way way preferred this Rawlins KOA Park. If you are choosing where to stay in Rawlins, the KOA is highly recommended.

Meh
It was a pretty good place. The RV spots were good but we came here instead of another RV spot because we thought it had a pool. No pool. It has a splash pad but we didn't see it working and it was a poor excuse of one.

Prices
$38 for a pull through site, water and electric. Lady on the phone had a little bit of an attitude.

Gravel lot mostly level did use leveler. no pool. Did have cable electric and water. My fan drowned out the highway noise 50 yards away. WiFi not useable. Friendly staff.
