Very nice and clean facilities with a pool and mini golf for the kids. Well stocked mini market and an okay restaurant. The food was rather average, but I can't fault a campground resort with a full restaurant. It was quite buggy when we were there...probably a combination of a wet spring and riverside accommodations. Spaces are level and hookups are well maintained. Ground is sandy rather than muddy which is nice.

Great For Families With Kids
This campground has every amenity imaginable including pools, man-made lagoon with an inflatable obstacle course, mini-golf, boating on the river, it’s own very nice riverside restaurant, and more. It’s well maintained and the staff is friendly and efficient. Sites are open and grassy. I would highly recommend it as a place for families with kids, but for us older folks who just want quiet it was a bit busy. Still very nice and it was convenient for us to see Frank Lloyd Wright houses and House on the Rock.

This place charges a buck for a 5 min shower, 10$ per head to swim etc. I was almost expecting a water and electric bill on check out. What they do offer for free is all the mosquitoes you want and more.

What A Trip!
We brought our family here from Iowa on a spur of the moment trip! It was neat to stay within the campgrounds or venture out. The kids have loved the free pool and mini golf! The lagoon was a great experience too! We took the short scenic drive to the house on the rock! We look forward to coming back next year! :)

Beautiful setting by WI River. Can't see river from our site. But beautiful view from their restaurant/bar, and a beautiful walk by the river. We were here mid October, so some pretty tree colors & amazed how many were camping yet. We had hard time finding a spot to camp at in this general vicinity including WI Dells since most closed on Sunday, Oct 16, to arrange a midpoint to camp with family. We were happy to find all the accommodations here & still open. The restaurant/bar is big w/ attached office/store, has live bait but not this time of year. The kids were disappointed about that but still stood in river & fished after we drove to get bait. No luck. Nice camp sites and they were very busy adding more sites. Not many trees for shade, had pine but not tall enough. Some of the older sights had bigger trees. Had little cabins by the river, 1 really big cabin with great view. We played mini golf, 18 holes. Nice pool area, closed. Bad thing was tiny biting bugs, body covered w/them.
