Weary Traveler
We have been away from our home in the U.P. of MI since Oct. 2019, was in AZ when the nation began the clousures because of Covid-19, we canceled our plans to continue our visits to other areas of our beautiful nation & made arrangements to stay put where we were. As April was ending & some of the closures were ending, we made plans to make our way home. All private campgrds I called to make a reserv for a night or 2 through each state toward home, we were told, no problem, we do not have regular office hrs though, can fill out the forms at office post area & leave fee in the dropbox, which we did. When calling this campground which was to be our final stop before getting home, but the lady who returned my call asked me where I was coming from & told me we could not cross the WI state line, we would need to self isolate, & not allowed to shop for supplies & be self sufficient. I tried telling her, we were but she refused us a site. I read the WI ruling, that is not what it stated.

Quiet & Serene
Sites are wooded and feel private. We have a 35' fifth wheel and although it was tight to navigate through the trees, there is ample space to park and set up. The facilities are clean and other campers are quiet and respectful. The ladies in the store met us this morning with cheer and were very helpful with suggestions for local events. The lake is clean and can easily be used to both fish and swim. Overall, it is a very nice campground. The two things that keep it from a 5 star review are very limited office hours (10-3), which means no campfire if you don't arrive before they close. There's a strict policy about not carrying in wood, but no honor box or means to purchase any after hours. The other is an incredibly hot shower where the temperature cannot be controlled. Two preteens in our group both got burned by the shower control handle, so this setup will work best if you have your own shower and utilize the full hookups.

Natures Woods
Close to town but far enough to hear nature. Hills and trees are what you will get. Different size sites for everyone. Some are tight some are big and spacious. Clean bathrooms. Firewood must be bought here in the campground. Full hookups. No cable. Bathrooms are close. Store with a pool but it closes early. Picnik tables and fire pits in each site. Passport America only good for 7 nights and nothing in July. Nice campground for the money. Plan on returning.
