Wonderful Campground

A friend recommended this place and we came in on a Sunday afternoon. The facility was beautiful, very large, well spaced sites. The park was so well maintained and all of the employees we were in contact with were so pleasant, helpful and friendly. Beautiful beach area and the hiking trails were great. We stayed for 4 nights and the 100 sites were maybe 1/4 full. It appeared that most sites were reserved for the weekend, as one might suspect for this beautiful place. Our stay was relaxing even if the fish weren't biting.?

We have camped at this Park many times for the last several years, and always had a relaxing experience. Only 40 mi. from home. The park is scenic, well maintained, clean restrooms. There is a drive-in & gas/grocery store with a bait shop Just minutes away.
