Maybe; Depends…

Plenty of room IN the park for camper and truck. 39’ fifth wheel; one-ton, dually, long bed truck. Grass sites; some mud if rain. Loved to hear the steam engine whistles as they passed fairly close in the afternoons. Nice staff. Full hookups. Family property for many, many decades. HOWEVER: I would NEVER take a big rig back there. Last 1-1/4 mile to campground is one lane, tight switch-backs. THANKFULLY I never met another vehicle; we did go in and out several times; sometimes two and three times a day. If 2 campers were to meet on this road, they would be in trouble; someone would be backing up. The owner told me their heyday was in the 1970’s and I understand why; the road would be much easier with a single rear-wheel truck and a 20’ camper (or tent); but someone would still have to backup a ways to be able to get off to the side enough to pass; both would have to get two wheels off the road to pass. I did have some twigs in my slide-out covers when I got to the campsite

Nice Place

Great location, beautiful views and close proximity to cass. The bathrooms could be a little nicer but not terrible.
