Tight Sites
Small tight sites. We had 18 and the site across from us was turned directly toward us. I could have played catch with my neighbor. Paved site but off the pavement was mud. Rain didn’t help. The rest of the park was really nice. A lot to see and do. Bike trail is great. Dump station is on a tight curve, so if you have a big rig could be an issue. Typical West Virginia roads. Steep hills up, down, and never ending curves. We came thru Cairo and that was a big mistake. Narrow road twist and turn with sheer drop offs. Went out thru Harrisville and much better route. One and done.

Not Hateful
We brought our 32’ TT and had no issues getting to the campground. We had site 14, which was across from the bathhouse right along the creek. The site was paved and far from level, but we had 30 amp electric and they recently added water to this area. The WiFi was very strong and good, since we didn’t have cell service, and no radio stations and no antenna reception either. Thanks to COVID everything was cleaned and sanitized often. Since this was only 40 mins from our house, the park didn’t have a lot to offer for our 1 year old expect for the one playground my son loved. Not our favorite campground, but they always have an open spot so it makes for a good weekend getaway.

Our go to
I've been going to North Bend since I was a kid and now with my family. Most sites are shaded, fishing pond, creek, there's always something going on at the nature center, a rails to trails hike will take you to the tunnel, bike and kayak rentals. The lodge has a restaurant and free wifi. We've had to go there to warm up in the lounge before we got the camper.
Just a well rounded park.

Very Nice Stay
I had a great experience at this campground. I tent camped one night in late August on a Thursday so it was pretty empty. Chose a large, beautiful site right next to the river. Bathrooms and showers were nice. There is trash bins available. Other guests were very friendly. Definitely be back

Good Spot
A nice campground, might get a little tight on weekends but quiet and respectful campers when we were there. Lots of trails, bike riding opportunities. Campsite alongside a stream with a fishing pond as well.
